Close to 90 Flights Connected to Epstein Reportedly Arrived at or Departed from UK Airfields
An investigation has uncovered that approximately 90 flights associated to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein allegedly touched down at and left British airports, with some reportedly carrying women from the UK who claim they were exploited by the found guilty child sex offender.
Flight Logs Show Trail of Movement
These aviation records were among thousands of legal papers and files made public by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been disclosed over the past year. The review uncovered 87 aircraft movements connected to Epstein â including many that were not previously known â landing or taking off from UK airports between the early 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Flights
Unnamed women were recorded among the travelers flying to and from the UK. Crucially, 15 of these flights involving the UK occurred following Epsteinâs 2008 guilty verdict for soliciting sex from a underage person.
âThis is âastonishingâ that there had never been a âthorough probe in the UKâ into his dealings in the country,â stated American attorneys acting for numerous Epstein victims.
UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings
A statement from one of the British victims helped convict Epsteinâs associate Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. Yet, that individual has not received any contact by British law enforcement, according to her attorney based in Florida.
In a response, the the Met stated they had ânot received any new evidence that would support reopening the inquiry.â They noted, âIf fresh and pertinent information be brought to our attention, encompassing any resulting from the release of material in the US, we will evaluate it.â
Continuing Disclosure and Legal Rulings
A bill to make public all files held by the US government in relation to Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to follow through. Hundreds of thousands of documents are anticipated to be made public.
In a related development, a US judge decided last week that the department could disclose evidence from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epsteinâs close friend, who is currently serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
